Spring pop in! With a new season approaching, learn a little about our founder, Mimi!
The Tiny Tassel began in 2015 on Etsy while Mimi, a College of Charleston 2014 graduate, was managing Ben Silver, a men’s retail shop in Charleston. Her handmade tassel jewelry surged in popularity and Mimi left retail to do The Tiny Tassel full time. The business has grown to incorporate a Curated Collection, garments handmade by Mimi’s mother, and party decor including balloons.
In 2017, Mimi co-opened Cannonoborough Collective with Liz Martin of the Charleston Weekender blog. The shop carries The Tiny Tassel as well as curated goods made by creatives local to Charleston and South Carolina.
Mimi’s mission is to bring color and joy into the lives of those who purchase her products!
The tassels come in a wide array of colors to choose from to truly make the jewelry something personal to reflect every customer. All of the garments are hand sewn by Mimi’s mother and named after iconic Charleston streets and locations. Each garment can be made in sizes ranging from XS-3XL with lots of fabrics to choose from, making each piece to bring joy in lightweight classic styles.
