The Tiny Tassel is a love letter to Charleston and to every woman who has ever wanted to dress boldly and show up fully.
We make joyful, high-quality goods — colorful statement accessories, garments, and home decor. You can find us at 46 Spring Street, Charleston, SC.
Welcome to The Tiny Tassel! I founded this brand in 2015 as a love letter to Charleston and to every part of who I am — a joyful, vibrant, expressive love letter. What began as a passion for craft and color has grown into something I could only have dreamed of: Charleston’s go-to destination for unique, in-house-designed clothing and accessories made for everyday joy.
A Decade of Joy later, we are the only Black and Asian woman-owned design house and boutique on the Charleston peninsula, rooted right at 46 Spring Street. Our clothing, illustrated and designed by my mom Keiko, is available in sizes XS-4XL. We believe in dressing for joy!
A handmade tassel, a thoughtfully designed accessory, a textural piece of home decor that makes you smile every time you walk past it — these aren’t tiny things at all. They’re how we say: I care. It’s people like you who shape the culture, the product, and the joy that’s felt when someone visits The Flagship or receives an order to their door.
I’m grateful you’re here for it.
Belonging
You'll feel it: the warmth, the joy, the sense that you're fully welcome here. The Tiny Tassel is proof that there is no one way to be a maker, a business owner, or an expressive woman.
Joy
Joy isn't a mood; it's our mission. We are disciplined about noticing what makes something wonderful, protecting it, and choosing to put it into everything we make.
Quality
We care about what goes into your closet. We honor our in-house design process — the craftsmanship, the textural details, the layered stories in every piece.
Every year, we choose a Generosity Partner and rally around their mission through collaborations, in-store events, and a portion of our sales. Our 2026 partner is The Birthday Party Project — an organization throwing birthday parties for children experiencing homelessness.
Past partners include Charleston Legal Access, Salood, Be A Mentor, The Period Project, and Girl Scouts of America. Joy multiplies when you give it away.
