May 2022 Recap!

From chats in the beautiful Gibbes’ Lenhardt Garden to exciting new product launches, May was filled with some of our favorite moments yet! Mimi had the opportunity to participate in events alongside other amazing entrepreneurs throughout the month and share The Tiny Tassel sparkle! Here are some May Highlights!

April 25th-27th: To wrap up the end of April and set May up for success, we attended the BRIMM 2022 conference! While in Greenville, we were able to set up a Tiny Tassel pop-up shop to share some of our classics along with some of our newest favorite pieces with attendees. This conference consisted of 3 days filled with training, keynote speakers, and fun activities alongside other amazing female entrepreneurs! 

May 10th: In the beautiful Gibbes’ Lenhardt Garden, Mimi hosted a chat with New York floral designer and author, Lewis Miller! Raised in California farm country, Lewis grew a fascination with flower arranging and is now famous for his book Flower Flash!

May 13th-14th: Did you know the College of Charleston was Mimi’s alma mater? During this fun-filled CofC Spring Alumni weekend, Mimi attended the Annual Meeting and Charleston Affair. There were also lots of visits in the shop throughout the weekend from fellow College of Charleston Alumni!

May 18th: We participated in Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit’s Charleston Female Founders giveaway with 11 other women-owned brands and contributed to a $1800 value prize for one lucky winner! We can never pass up an opportunity to be among such great companies!

May 19th: We hosted a spring neighborhood stroll for our bi-monthly in-store event, where This Must Be The Cookie provided yummy sweet treats and The Flower Pedal Charleston had fresh flowers available for spring shoppers! Our neighbors, by ALALA, Harper & Hartford, and Charleston Candle Co, also held extended shopping hours so shoppers could stroll in and out of nearby stores throughout the evening!

May 28th: Mimi attended a beautiful Persian Porch Supper hosted by Carrie Morey, founder of Callie's Hot Little Biscuit and gifted attendees with The Tiny Tassel accessories! This night was full of yummy food, conversations amongst female entrepreneurs and elegantly set tables! 

Throughout the month of May we were able to launch some very exciting new pieces!

The Mother’s Day Collection: Our Mother’s Day Collection was the first to hit the floor last month and included The Radcliffe Top in Pink Hearts, The Dorchester Dress in Pink Hearts and The Poinsett Hoop! These three pieces were thoughtfully designed for all the sweet moms and were the perfect gift to spread love on a special day (and everyday in between)!

Our Limited Edition Tassel Soap: This limited edition tassel soap bar was handcrafted with premium oils and butters by our friend Motherland Essentials here in Charleston, SC! This beautiful bright blend of citrus and yuzu is embellished with a tiny tassel and glitter (of course!) to create the perfect spring soap!

The Anson Earring: This hypoallergenic statement style is perfect for any upcoming tropical vacations! This fun new earring features a pink birdie with pops of black and yellow, great for your next island getaway or staycation! 

Our Sunny Day Staples: Next up we dropped our Sunny Day Staples! This launch included two summer must haves, The Legare Top in Garden Abstract and The Legare Top in Rainbow Flowers. This versatile top is handmade by Mimi’s mom Keiko and can be worn on or off the shoulders making it the perfect summer staple!

Our Fresh Squeezed Collection: This fruity fun collection includes The Watermelon earring, The Cherry earring, The Lime earring, The Lemon earring, #EHxTTT Orange Blossom earring, and The Strawberry earring! All of these beaded beauties make for the best statement accessory to spice up any summer outfit!

May sure was packed full of special events and launches of products that have proved to be summer must haves! With the end of May begins the start to a whole new month full of exciting new adventures! June we are excited to see what all you have in store!!
