Our company’s name is the combination of our names. Carlene Browner and Cassandra Browner Richardson. As sisters, it allows us to also recognize our mom Queenie Browner who taught us the art of clay jewelry making. What’s the best way to start your day? I try to start my day in meditation. I am not dedicated to physical exercise but I am about mental exercise. I try to relax and think about my day and then spend a few minutes in gratitude. It helps to visualize my to-do list. The word "urbane" means notably polite or polished in manner. I love the word "urban" inside it. I think it defines my clothing and fabric choices because they are sweet and polished but often with a little funk or edge to them! Also, the logo started as a mama and baby bird representing my daughter, Carson, and me.
